We currently have a job opening as a Shipping/Packaging Associate and are looking for someone who’s looking for an opportunity in a stable company with career growth opportunities. EDUCATION REQUIRED:

No minimum requirement, diploma/G.E.D. or more, preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience with shipping/receiving processes (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc…).

Qualifications:

  • A positive attitude, willing to work with and help others, a true Team player.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely.
  • Basic computer skills and basic math skills.
  • Knowledge of shipping methodology and software.
  • Inventory control – cycle counting, physical inventory.
  • Strong organization, familiar with process/product flow.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to follow safety

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Counting product (hand and weight count)
  • Packing product (into bag, tray, box, and/or pallets)
  • Processing shipments in our ERP system
  • Shipping orders (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.), domestic and international shipments.
  • Receive product deliveries.
  • Loading/unloading pallets on/off trucks utilizing forklifts or hand trucks.
  • Replenishing packaging supplies

Drive the following initiatives:

  • Process Improvement, Process Adherence, Inventory Management, On-Time Delivery, Quality – correct quantities, shipping methods and packaging, and Process Flow.

Other Requirements & Information:

  • Successful candidates must pass drug test.
  • Full-Time position, Dayshift = Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 4:45pm., flexibility for work/life balance!
  • Heavy strength requirements regarding reaching and handling materials.
  • Good finger and hand dexterity.
  • On-site forklift certification.
  • Climate controlled facility year-round!
