Fast Track Training is an exclusive program designed to quickly advance your skill level and compensation. Integrating classroom instruction, hands-on training and daily machining responsibilities, you will rapidly learn essential skills for success as a set-up machinist.
Weekly classroom sessions cover key machining concepts critical to operating a wide range of equipment including tooling, machine design, shop math and programing.
Hands-on, one-on-one training reinforces classroom instruction, focusing on the operation and set-up of CNC turning, mill-turning and Swiss-type lathes.
Take your newly learned skills and put them to work in a real-world production environment. As you learn and gain experience, we will make sure your responsibilities grow with your skills.
Upon completion of the program, you will have finished the certification requirements for a variety of machining competencies as designated by the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS). In addition, you will be qualified as a set-up operator, capable of independently setting-up and making parts on multiple types of CNC lathes.
